How much of the municipality is located within the Atlantic forest, with areas still preserved and untouched, there are several trails that revealed lush landscapes in Bombinhas. The more adventurous the suggestion is to pick up the trail that part of the beach of Zimbros, located at the right end, and move towards the Deserted beaches, Cardoso, red and Sad and the waterfall from the beach Sad.

Island of Galés

Macuco Island (Peanut)
Also known as peanut Island, Macuco is part of the Municipal Park of Monkey Hill. Together with the islands of Arvoredo, Galés, Deserta and Calhau de São Pedro composes the Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve. There are calm waters and the island attracts divers and anglers.
To have most of your area covered by a dense vegetation, formed mainly by large hardwood trees, Arvoredo Island received its name.
The island has 270 acres of mountainous relief, distributed in more than 3,000 mt long, 1,850 m width and 300 mt above sea level. It is the largest island of Arvoredo reserve.
On the South side there is a naval base of Ibama, which is next to the Lighthouse, very popular for diving. Its rich fauna involves species of birds, snakes, reptiles, turtles and seabirds, some migratory, which make nests on the island.

ARVOREDO MARINE BIOLOGICAL RESERVE
Established in 1990, the Marine biological reserve of the Grove is one of the great natural and archeological heritage of the Brazilian coast, formed by the Islands of Arvoredo, Galés, Deserta and Calhau de São Pedro. The best diving spots are on the islands of Arvoredo and Galleys. These points, the depth is between five and 20 metres. The largest of these is the Arvoredo island with 270 hectares.
The reserve is an important center of scientific studies of the fauna and marine flora, so are not permitted activities such as hunting, fishing or wild or domestic species, which may modify the your Constitution.
Due to being located in an area that receives both chains of Brazil (warm water) as the Falklands (cold water) the region is home to species of fauna and flora typical of both climates, with rich diversity of birds, fish, turtles and coral.
The site is also considered an important archaeological site and history, with traces of human occupation (drawings of human figures) of about 4,000 years ago, as Shell mounds, stone inscriptions and ancient burials. The Grove is about 11 km, both of Firecrackers and the North of the island of Santa Catarina.
Most of the island is covered by the Atlantic Rainforest, home to a great diversity of flora and fauna (there are species of birds, reptiles, turtles, ophidian and sea birds or migratory species). The vegetation is virtually intact and controlled fishing. It is also one of the best diving spots of Brazil and of easy access. The water depth ranges from five to 20 metres, and visibility can reach 18 meters.
TRAILS AND OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Monkey Hill Municipal Park
Situated on the beach of Canto Grande, the Municipal Park of the Morro dos Macacos is one of the main sights of Firecrackers. To get to the top of the Hill of the Monkeys is necessary to follow a trail of approximately 153 meters above sea level, which provides in your top a beautiful view of the islands of Arvoredo and the coves of the Mariscal and Zimbros. Trail of the coastal of Zimbros
It is located in the area of Revealing ecological interest of the coastal of Zimbros.
